Antelope Audio Edge Quadro
Dual‑Head Quad‑Channel Modeling Microphone for 360° Recording
The Antelope Audio Edge Quadro is the most advanced modeling microphone ever created by Antelope Audio. Featuring two large dual‑membrane condenser capsules and a fully rotatable head, Edge Quadro delivers true quad‑channel output for stereo, surround, and immersive 360° recording. Supporting techniques such as M/S, X/Y, Blumlein, and 3D sound capture, Edge Quadro is the only microphone you’ll need for professional stereo and spatial recording applications.
AN EPIC MICROPHONE EMULATION LIBRARY
Edge Quadro includes an extensive and continuously expanding collection of classic microphone emulations. Eleven legendary microphone models are available at launch, with seven more coming soon. The intelligent control panel allows users to load two different mic emulations simultaneously—one for each head—offering unprecedented flexibility and tonal variety.
EXPERIMENT LIKE NEVER BEFORE
Each Edge Quadro head offers total control and precision. The upper head rotates smoothly and silently at any angle, even while recording. Both heads support all polar patterns including cardioid, figure‑8, omnidirectional, and everything in between. This design enables limitless stereo imaging options, creative recording techniques, and unmatched tonal shaping.
STUNNING DESIGN AND PREMIUM ACCESSORIES
Edge Quadro not only sounds incredible—it looks the part. The microphone includes a custom luxury shock mount and two high‑grade oxygen‑free copper Y‑cables. It is housed in a custom handmade wooden case, providing superior protection for its robust and durable metal body.
HIGH COMPATIBILITY AND FLEXIBLE WORKFLOW
Edge Quadro is optimized for use with Antelope Audio interfaces featuring built‑in FPGA processing for real‑time vintage mic emulation. It also includes Antelope’s native mic emulation plug‑ins, allowing full compatibility with third‑party audio interfaces and post‑recording model changes. Native AFX plug‑ins are available in VST, AU, and AAX formats for macOS and Windows. iLok 2 or 3 required (not included).
ABOUT THE EDGE FAMILY
The Edge Family expands Antelope Audio’s modeling microphone lineup with three large‑diaphragm condenser mics: Edge Solo (fixed cardioid), Edge Duo (multi‑pattern), and Edge Quadro (dual‑capsule quad‑output). Combined with Antelope’s FPGA and native mic emulation technology, the Edge Family makes world‑class mic modeling accessible to a wider range of creators.
